The production requirements for FRP tanks are as follows: FRP tanks are one of the FRP products, mainly made of a new type of composite material using fiberglass as the reinforcing agent and resin as the adhesive, and controlled by a microcomputer for winding
1. Manufacturing process
Under the control of the computer, the inner liner is made on the core mold according to the requirements. After gel, the structural layer is wound according to the designed line shape and thickness to make a protective layer.
2. Raw and auxiliary materials
Resin, fiber felt, glass fiber winding yarn, etc.
3. Product production and inspection standards
It is important to strictly control various production processes, raw material selection, and product inspection during each process to ensure the high quality and specific performance requirements of the product.
The airtightness test procedure for FRP tanks should be tested before use
(1) After the pressure rises to 50% of the test pressure, hold for 10 minutes and inspect all welds and connection parts of the spherical tank. After confirming that there are no leaks, continue to increase the pressure.
(2) After the pressure of the fiberglass tank body rises to the test pressure, maintain it for 10 minutes, and check all welds and connection parts with soapy water. If there is no leakage, it is qualified. If there is a leak, the air tightness test should be conducted again after treatment.
Surface treatment methods for FRP tanks
1. Structural treatment: In order to ensure the performance of the coating, welding defects such as porosity and intermittent welding should be corrected before sandblasting. Sharp edges and flame cut edges are polished to a radius of R=2mm. The weld seam should be smooth and free from welding slag splashing.
2. Oil removal: Before sandblasting, the grease or wetting agent left by the flaw detection should be cleaned according to the "solvent".
3. The abrasive used for sandblasting is clean and free of pollutants, and will not have a beneficial impact on the coating performance. The size of the abrasive should be able to produce the required roughness for a specific coating system.
Several maintenance techniques for FRP tanks
FRP tanks are one of the fiberglass products, mainly using fiberglass as a reinforcing agent
1. FRP tanks can only be used under design conditions, and the medium used cannot be changed arbitrarily; If the design conditions are met, the medium should be cleaned when replacing it;
2. Avoid contact with sharp and hard objects;
3. If any damage is found, it should be repaired in a timely manner;
4. Avoid long-term exposure to scorching sun and use in harsh environments;
